πŸ“£ Important Safety & Practice Reminders for Our Devil Rays!

As we head into the heart of our season, we want to make sure everyone is getting the absolute most out of their time in the water. To ensure our practices are safe, productive, and fun for everyone, the coaches and Board need to ask for your full cooperation with a few important pool rules.

  • Eyes Up, Ears Open: When swimmers are in the pool for practice, your full attention belongs to your coaches. High energy is great, but horsing around on the wall or in the lanes disrupts the workout and makes it hard for others to hear instructions. Let's stay focused so we can Swim Fast, Sting Hard!
  • Know Your Practice Time: Swimmers are only permitted in the pool during their designated practice age-group time slot. If it is not your scheduled practice time, you must remain completely out of the water.
  • Junior Coaches Lead by Example: Our junior coaches are the role models of this team. We expect you to set the standard by giving 100% attention during your own practices, staying out of the water when it isn't your time, and demonstrating excellent behavior for our younger swimmers to follow.
  • Supervision Rule (Ages 11 & Under): Per HOA rules, all swimmers aged 11 and under must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or designated supervisor who is 16 years or older for the entire duration of their practice. Coaches are responsible for the swimmers in the water, so we need eyes on the deck for safety.

Thank you all for your cooperation in keeping our practices safe and running smoothly. Let's have a great week of practice!
