We are moving right along into the season! We have a packed week ahead with major deadlines, our Time Trials, and some great opportunities for your swimmers. Let's dive into this week's updates:

🚨 Urgent: Meet Declarations are OPEN for the Entire Season!

Meet declarations are now officially open for every single meet this season. Please declare your swimmers for all meets right now, whether they plan to attend or not. Knowing who will be there is critical for our coaches to build the meet lineups.

⏱️ This Weekend: Time Trials & Kickoff Pool Party

• Time Trials (Saturday, June 6th @ 8:00 AM): This is our "practice" meet to get baseline times for all swimmers. Please wear your official team swimsuit if you have it!
• Kickoff Pool Party (Sunday, June 7th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM): Join us at the Virginia Manor Pool for pizza, pool time, and music to celebrate the official start of the season!

📸 Important: Team Picture Day Online Ordering Details (Olson Photography)

Team pictures are coming up, and Olson Photography has moved to a brand-new, simplified online ordering system. Please note that check and cash payments will no longer be accepted.

Orders should be placed prior to or on picture day to avoid additional late processing fees.

• How to Order: Go to www.olsonphotography.com and enter our league access code: SWIM
• New Features: No account creation is required, and you can now add multiple children to the same transaction for your convenience.

⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARENTS:

1. After completing your online checkout, you will receive an email confirmation with an order number. (If ordering for multiple children, you will get a separate order number for each child).
2. You must write this order number on the paper photo slip provided at the shoot.
3. Your child must hand that slip directly to the photographer when their picture is taken. Orders cannot be processed without this order number!

🌦️ This Week's Practice Schedule Reminder

We are continuing our afternoon schedule this week. Hopefully, the spring weather will cooperate with us so we can get a full, uninterrupted week of practice in the water!

As a reminder, here is the daily afternoon schedule (Monday–Friday):

• 9-10 years old: 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM
• 8 & Under: 5:45 PM – 6:30 PM
• 13 & Up: 6:30 PM – 7:15 PM
• 11-12 years old: 7:15 PM – 8:00 PM
• Reminder: There are no afternoon practices for Mini Rays.
